I hope not. I have a recurring dream of three white bearded men speaking to me. I cannot understand Scottish-Gaelic and I don't want them to come back.

No, that is a superstition like black cats, breaking mirrors, etc. More often than not, subconscious thoughts are what govern your dreams. If you are convinced that something will come true, often you cause it to come true through your actions, subconsciously. Or, your memory of the dream alters in your mind to fit what you later experience, making you think something you dreampt about came true.

I don't believe that. I am one who can control their dreams and decide things while dreaming. I used to dream nightly that I was attending my husbands (now ex husband) funeral and he is still alive at 70! That never came true.

No. It doesn't work that way. If you want it to come true you need to play your part. Usually, it just means that something in your life needs to be addressed consciously.
