A silly thought came into my head the other day.....
Do Geoducks communicate....talk to each other?

They are just big clams and no clam has ever been found communicating.

That depends on how you define "communicate" :)

Since they live in a liquid medium there is a possibility that they can pass simple messages by releasing chemicals into the environment - they might be able to tell other geoducks stuff like " spawn now!", or "close your shells, I'm being eaten!".
