Call all of them and work out a payment plan and try to get your interest lowered or stopped.
Then, make the minimum payments on every one of them. On the lowest dollar value, put all your extra effort toward paying it off. Once it is paid off, then roll that extra money to the next largest balance. Continue this snowball until all your debts are paid off.
You probably need to cut your expenses back to the bare minimum. Get rid of cable, cell phones, internet, etc. Lower your electric bill, gas bill, water bill, etc. Don't eat at a restaurant until your debts are under control. Take a sandwich for lunch. Cancel the gym membership. If you
Try to increase your income by getting a second job. If you have a car with payments, get rid of it, and buy a good dependable used car for CASH.
Go to the library and get "The Total Money Makeover". Read it and follow it carefully.
Go check out Dave's website as well.
Yahoo is blocking the link for Dave's website for some reason. Guess they don't want people to use sound money methods?!?!?

This is what I did when I got behind in payments after being in the hospital. I called the companies that I was late with and I told them what happened to me and theat I would continue to pay, but I would be a slow pay until I could catch up. I was willing to complete my payments on credit cards by paying minimum payments, but I did not use them anymore. I made sure that my rent and utilities got paid, otherwise they would get turned off, and I had to be very carefull about what I spent on food and fuel, but after 3 years, it all worked out. Good luck.
Don't use one of those companies that say they can wipe out debt for you. They will charge you for a service that they may not be able to deliver. Sometimes, they put you on a payment plan and take a fee from that, too. It's just as easy to contact your debors yourself and negotiate with them yourself.

WHY didn't you say how they would help ?
Loan ? Job ?
If they loan you $$$ , that will hurt you because you are taking on MORE debt .
If they give you a job where you earn $$$ and you use it to pay your bills, that would help you .

Depending on the TYPE of help, it may or may not affect your credit score. If you get out of debt and STAY out of debt, your credit score doesn't matter.
