No because he is a true pro. The guys who should be smiling are the Colts and Patriots. The AFC went from a 3 team race to two because the GM of the Chargers is an idiot. First he lets Drew Brees (an All-Pro) go and then he fires one of the best coaches in the game. If the Chargers go anything less than 10-6 it's Norv Turner's fault. He has the same players Marty had, it's simply a matter of coaching. Turner was bad in Washington and worst in Oakland. Why the Chargers hired him, is a big, big mystery.

Nope. Even though he isn't coaching you know his philosophies and everything is still living in that team. More than likely he is thinking Norv Turner might be messing up everything he's taught them. Marty might have never went far in the playoffs but teams always seemed disciplined and his players always respect him. That said you know he wants to see this team go far...he practically built this team.

San Diego is getting what it asked for, a yes man coach who can't coach. I still see a 9-7 season for the chargers.

O yea, he's a class act but how could he not like seeing this team struggle? Hope the Giants give this guy a call.

I don't think he's the kind of person that would rejoice in the misfortune of others.
But hey, I could be wrong.
