1975 Ford Elite, Grand Torrino.
A 2 door sport coupe that was far bigger than most luxury sedans are today.
My friends all called it the Great White Shark because it looked primevally predatory with the missing pieces in the grill. I took this thing to college, it could literally hold everything I owned. Joe Pesci would've definitely approved of the trunk space.
All the Frat boys cruisin' around in Daddy's new BMW looked on me with distain. But they lived in mortal terror of pulling out in front of me. That's right boys, this mo' fo' is Detroit Steel. If we collide, I go to the junk yard and spend $200 on parts, Daddy's car becomes an incredibly expensive paper weight and you wake up in Intensive Care wondering who you are.
I spent more time UNDER it than IN it. Constantly working on this beast to keep it alive. It was a good first car, it had character.

A 1969 fully restored Volkswagon bug. I paid $2,300 for it. (That was a lot of money back then.) I remember having trouble writing the check since I'd never written that big of a check before. I loved that car though. Good memories!

mine was a 1997 chevy lumina.
My mother sold it to me for 7 dollars.
Lets just say I learned what not to do while driving a car.
In the end, the scrap man did not even think it was worth to pay me fifty dollars to take it off my hands. That is when he seen it. When he talked to us over the phone, before we brought it in, he offered 200 dollars for it.

It is so embarrassing! It was an old Thunderbird. I don't know the year, but it was very old! It was brown, and huge and everywhere I went I got stared at! I now have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I love it!
