CLASSIC_LADY: Oh, no...I always pick a Best Answer. Except for maybe a half dozen times out of 650 questions...I always do...

I have maybe 4 open at a time and also make sure I pick the best answer myself.

Zero.
I only answer questions and lately primarily for special people who deserve to feel special at least three times in a day. (30033) Only 299 more to go before it becomes special again.
As for if you can leave all your answers open. I am pretty sure you can but it is a waste of 3 points each time you do. I have come across many people that find that okay but I always thought they were a little foolish. But I really don't believe they were ever stopped from asking more questions without picking a best answer.
Anyway, just keeping it special.
