With so many great film characters and moments, he brought so much joy and love to people through his acting. It's a tough decision but I am going to nominate 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles'. It is hilarious, cute, annoying, frightening and sentimental all rolled into one. Honourable mentions go to 'Uncle Buck', 'Splash', 'Brewster's Millions', 'Stripes' and 'Cool Runnings'.

I think Planes, Trains & Automobiles was John Franklin Candy's best movie. It was also my favorite as him and Steve Martin had comical chemistry.

John Candy was also in Stripes with Bill Murray and Harold Ramis...He "swallowed alot of aggression; along with alot of Pizza's." It is a classic...I miss him.
