First, have you defeated the Vyraal Wyrm? If so, look for the Wyrm Philosopher in Cerobi Steppe, he is at windwill #10 in "The Northsward" section. Give him the Dragon Scale you received for defeating the Vyraal Wyrm, and he will give you an Ageworn Key. This key unlocks a secret chamber within the Sochen Cave Palace. The chamber is locked by an ancient puzzle, which was mentioned in certain clues scattered around the dungeon. To open the Hall of the Ascetic to the hall of the Wroth God, you must walk a certain path through Destiny's March.

Enter the Sochen Cave Palace from the south (Tchita Uplands). Proceed up the east side of the dungeon to the far east door into Destiny's March. You must walk a circle around Destiny's March, only opening doors marked as a "Door of Hours". Go CLOCKWISE starting on the east side and heading southwest, then follow the hall all the way around to the starting point. This triggers the Ascetic's Door if done properly.

Go to the west side of Destiny's March and check out the Ascetic's Door. Follow the Hall of the Ascetic down to the Hall of the Wroth God and use the Ageworn Key to enter the secret chamber.

Hell Wyrm has almost 9,000,000 HP, so be prepared for a tough and LONG battle. He likes to cast Stop, so be prepared. Good luck, he was a toughie. Also near the end of the fight he will begin casting Invert, which will switch your MP and HP values. Try to keep a little MP at this point in the battle, if not, when your MP and HP values are reversed you will die.
