I was induced at 39 weeks because my placenta was getting too old... loads of calcium deposits, my daughter was just ready early. It caused me to go into labour, but nothing happened because, as it turned out, her head was turned and she was blocking her own way down. So, fifteen hours of contractions (no epi, btw) and they finally just cut me open and pulled her out. I hear lots of horror stories about labour, but let's face it: at the end you get your amazing baby. By whatever means, it's all worth it.

I was induced with my first child at 38 weeks due to Pregnancy induced hypertension... preclampsia. I am having my second in a week and will have a planned c-section 4 weeks early as to stay away from the PIH

Yes I was induced at 36 weeks. I was admitted at 34 as I only measured 28. At the scan they discovered reduced doppler and reduced liquor. They monitored me from 34-36 and as it got no better started me off but wanted to wait a bit longer for baby's development. I also had steroid shots in my bum to strengthen baby's lungs.

I was induced because my water broke and I wasn't dilating at all in the next 24 hours.

I was 3 days over due and flt cotractions 3 monutes apart went to the hospital .They said my water broke , but nothing came out until the nurse checked so I thank she did it, I was not dialating at all so they gave me pitocin and the cotractions were like every minute and I do not recomend getting it done unless the baby is getting too big or is later than a 2 weeks.

yes i was induced because i was having strong contraction for over 16hrs and i was a week late and my son was in stress so had 2 be born quick

Yes I was induced twice.The first time was because my son wouldn't turn around.I was 37 weeks.the last time was 4 years ago when My twins came early and they gave me something to stop the contraction but it made my water break.i was 30 weeks.It feels like real hot water.

I was with my 2nd.... she was 14 days overdue and I when I went for an ultrasound, the doctor said the amount of amnio fluid had decreased, and she was losing weight.
I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy...

38 weeks because I had a blood clot that was discovered in my 26 week of pregnancy
