I wrote this upon the death of my daughter in a hiking accident which occurred one week after her 21st birthday:

Teddy bears and bunnies
Covering the bed
Dollies carried carefully,
All washed and wrapped and fed.
Pony tails that never stayed
Within the rubber band
Burnt toast served lovingly
She made with her own hand
Roller skating backwards
And in circles on the walk
Bicycling to Jennifer's
Way down around the block
Mixing cookies by herself
And eating half the dough
That's Kristina Lemondrop
Whose mommy loved her so.

Sorry for losing someone you loved very much. I can relate to your loss too. At least you have the courage to share your poem about this loss. I too lost a loved one some time back but the pain prevented my sharing my poem. I just could not find words to express my feelings.
Delete "her" in the last line.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
