I'd go with any name that means something to you, if you like Southern Paige, than go for it, but I personally wouldn't name my baby after a direction.

for some odd reason, i actually do like the name southern paige but i would change it to paige southern,

I don't really like the name Southern Page for my own babies, but it's pretty enough.
