Where Can I buy a really cheap laptop computer online. I am talking under $300. I am a student so I need it.

I believe that meets your qualifications, but watch out for shipping charges, as that may exceed your price limitation.

Note: save some money and load Ubuntu with opensource software and avoid expensive stuff like Microsoft Office in preference of Open Office. Shameless plugging of an easy to use linux distro, I know what can I say.

Check out delloutlet.com, watch out for ebay; might as well be playing Russian roulette; given the number of associates I've seen get burned with ebay I stay far away from those too good to be true deals...pretty much everything on ebay; just my opinion. If you're not afraid of linux, check out the new ASUS linux laptop they offer (don't know if it's actually been released yet); it is under the $300.00 range; I plan on getting one of these.

UPDATE: citrusmicro.com has pre-ordering; not sure if they are reputable reseller, do some home work. Also http://www.ncix.com/ a Canadian outlet is alleged to be offering the ASUS laptops end of this month sometime (unconfirmed). Good luck
