Now this will be telling! I have been told to try to exercise gently, eat more regularly, take my meds {which I hate meds & I am very poor at doing}, come in for this test or that test, & the list is endless. I do try to walk as much as possible, but some days I find it difficult to climb the 4 stairs to my house. My diet is good. I refuse meds at this time, I suppose it may happen down the road. Having been in that system for awhile & being a RN I realize this is my body, & my doctor just does not live in it. It is not that I delibertly am being a rebel, it is just I know what my options are & what lies ahead down the road, plus I am more of a naturalist than my MD. Some of their cures & meds just create more problems than they correct. So far, by listening to what my body tries to tell me it needs, I have done well with this auto immune disorder, & if you were to look at me you would never guess. And I still believe that I will find that I have over come this particular betrayal of this body one day soon. Thanks for the Question.

My doc says I should watch my weight, eat less fried food, drink more water, stop smoking cigarettes, get more sleep, be monogamous, etc...but what the hell do they know?

"Go to the doctor more." I go every 5 years or so just to please my wife. I no longer trust the medical industrial complex of America. peace
