In the word cliche, what is the little mark called that is supposed to go above the "e", and how do you make it on the keyboard?

It's an acute accent, and you can either hold the ALT key and press 135 on the number pad (it has to be a number pad, so it won't work on a laptop) or, in Microsoft Word at least, go to "Insert" "Symbol" and chose it from the list.

An accent, and you have to go to word or something, and then hit Ctrl, hold, then hit ' then release both, then hit e.
