I never paid attention to that MSN messenger program software when I had MSN. I just allowed it to download the upgrades and ignored it. It didn't hurt the computer.

This auto feature will not go away and is an upgrade with more features and stability that you probably would want anyway, as well as the notices to go away. Just click "yes" next time and upgrade!

Unfortunately, you have to use the Windows Live Messenger MSN.
It happened to me also.
I had to download the new one.
And I really dislike it.
But I guess they are just trying to get everyone to convert to useing Windows Live Messenger just like they ant everyont to use Windows Live Email insted of Hotmail.
I hope I helped =]

Isn't it great to be dependant on Microsoft and their whims?
It's Microsofts way of telling you you have to upgrade. That way they won't have to bother about supporting older versions.
