Tim Duncan - Count the rings

2007-09-23 14:12:08 · answer #1 · answered by Jake freakin' Larsen! 4 · 1 1

it doesn't really matter because people have different oppinions about different players. Like everybody keeps comparing MJ to Kobe shaq to wilt and many others. we can go on and on about these superstars but the argument will never come to an end. that is why the NBA has created the "Greatest 50". Have you ever noticed in the Greatest 50 they haven't ranked the players, it just has a list of best. The reason of that is because they know if they had ranked them it would have a major controversy.

I would say Kobe Bryant. He has so much skill and can do anything on the basketball court. He once scored over 80 points all by himself, in the 2006-2007 season he scored over 50 points multiple times, he has won a championship before, in the Olympics, and an all star. I believe hes the greatest player of the 21st century.

If I had to pick some one it would be Kobe. He is one of the best players to ever play the game. The boy is honestly got talent. He has rings already and some how he manages to get the Lakers in the playoff with no real help on his team. So I take my hat off to him and I think he's the best

It's only been a few years into the 21th century. The greatest NBA basketball player in this century prolly hasn't played/born yet. My money is on Michael Jordan grandson in 2050.

First of all, "the 21st century is the present century of the Anno Domini (common) era, in accordance with the Gregorian calendar. It began on January 1, 2001 and will end December 31, 2099."

Right now, we only saw 7 years of it!!! So who's the greatest player of the 21st century? The odds are that he hasn't been born yet!

P.S. To qualify for the greatest player in the 21st century, you probably have to either beat Bill Russell's record or Michael Jordan's stats, LEAD teams to championships, and not get into huge controversies. For example, Dennis Rodman isn't considered a top PF because of his controversial life-style.

The 21st century's best player is probably Kobe. He has the most lethal combinations in his arsenal. He shoots very well, he's an underrated passer, he's also one of the most underrated defensive players today. He can get his shot off anybody. 81 points in one game is not normal...and he's 6'7! Kobe's as good as it gets. The only reason he doesn't have a title is because unlike Mike, he didn't have a Pippen,a Rodman and a Kukoc to his Mike.

Tim Duncan the man has four rings, and hes still in his prime. So that mean he can end up with about six or seven. Then you will have to talk about him beening in the top 5 to ever play the game.

kobe bryant
kobe can shoot threes (set and off the dribble), fadeaways(from anywhere even three point range) bankshots, jumpers from anywhere, floaters ,runners, make impossible layups, score anywhere from baseline to halfcourt, in the paint, dunking
he lost 20 pounds this summer
now he'll be playing better defense
did you see him in FIBA
he has three rings
shaq was the base of the dynasty but kobe was the thing that made the team go
you can't tell me another player in the league that can do all the things kobe can do and he's only halfway done
81 points!!!!!!
by himself
he's unguardable
not even containable he's averaging 30+ points
how is that containment
not lebron
he doesn't have confidence in his shooting abilty
not nash
id say he is second but his unselfish tendancies hurts his team along the stretch of a game when his teamates are in are in a drought
the next two years kobe will be a laker and he will break scoring records
when he leaves in 2009 and goes to freeagency he'll finally have a chance to win more rings at least 2 more before he's done
like kobe or not he is the most talented basketball player alive!
