I think about all the good bands and I think how good Def leppard sounds. "Photograph", "Foolin", "Bring on the heartbreak", "Pour some sugar on me". All of those songs ROCK! I just think a lot of people don't give them enough credit but I'm starting to really like them a lot.

They're very underrated. It really shows how narrow-minded music fans can be.

Def Leppard is extremely talented, and they have so many great songs. They deserve more recognition for their contributions to music.

Let me tell you. Back in the mid 80's to the very early 90's NO band was bigger than Def Leppard. There were others as popular, but not more so. I know, because I was there. I saw them in the 80's three times and once two years ago.

To answer your question. No, I do not believe that they are underrated. They've made there money, and have received there awards. While I still listen to them, I know that Def Leppard time to shine is long over. Don't let that get you down though. Because back in the day they kicked A S S!

I think that they are the best! I am amazed at how underrated they are now. Back in the day they were very much THE band and still are to me. They are still putting out great new music and touring and with all the original members except Steve Clark (RIP). Vivian, who replaced Steve is still with the band and he does a great job. When you think about all the other bands of the 80's and 90's that got into drugs and alcohol and didn't make, you have got to admire them.

Underrated!!! They are far too overrated. Def Leppard was and is nothing more than overproduced garbage. I saw them in 1983. The big tour. There 'crowning' year. I felt sorry for them. They make Britan look bad. I'm sorry if you really think 'Photograph' rocks but at the same time I respect your opinion.

Well I've seen them in concert twice, a lot of people went, so I'm sure they're credited quite a bit just not your Mtv kinda band which is how it should be otherwise they could get a little sickening. But yes I love them, my favorite is Slang.

they weren't overrated during their reign...obviously now there are a million other new bands who are taking the limelight...def leppard had their time to shine...and now it's time for the newbies...

they were not under rated 20 years ago when they were popular. only now, since they are old, and to the best of my knowledge, haven't put out an album in 15 years
