Are you bragging about your laptop? Of course you can install it on that laptop.
If you are serious, there are a number of ways to enjoy Ubuntu. One is to download the ISO from their site - make a CD and run the "live" CD - this allows you to actually try out the operating system without actually installing it on your hard drive. There is a little performance penalty. Another is to partition your hard drive to dual boot.
Download the ISO for Ubuntu here:

You guys gave an answer before knowing what you were talking about.
The m1330 notebook actually has an Xorg issue in the 7.04 release. Apparently the Gutsy Gibbon release (7.10) works well - and will be officially released sometime in October.

Dell are now pre-installing ubuntu 7.04 on their system now. so you can get Ubuntu Linux support from dell website. this is not before time to have a big player supporting Linux... though I don't rate dell systems...

Hi, just download the iso image and burn it to a cd and boot from it. I don't know the spec of ur laptop but if it isn't that powerful then u can use Xubuntu which is another version of Ubuntu designed for less powerful computers.
Good Luck!
