A LOT. My life has always been about sacrifice. I thought it was all for the fact that last my son cancer, and I thought all of it was for that one experience, so I could be strong and see it through. Well we weathered and pulled through that one, and now my dad is ill with West Nile, and it will be many months and up to a year before he is better. Again I am asked to draw from resources which were stretched to the limit as it was, and somehow I have managed to still be able to spend days at the hospital with him, see my kids to school and back, make dinner, do homework, work from 8 to 1 am every night, and start the routine all over again the next day.

It seems life is one struggle after another, but through it all I do not fall to pieces, yet everyone around me seems to, and I think to myself why? They aren't even giving a fraction of what I am and they are crumbling under the stress of that little that they do.

So I realize that I am mighty...very mighty!! And I can weather this through and any challenges which come my way.

I look at the bright side too, I've met so many wonderful people because of all the adversity, and in retrospect, that is what gives me courage and faith to carry on, because there are many, many great and wonderful people in this world, despite the ones who seemingly don't care. I don't place any credence on people like that, and only have respect for the ones who know the true meaning of what it is to be human and compassionate.

Nowhere near as much as I used to. I used to give and give and give, and hope something would come back. It rarely, if ever did, so... now when I don't get back, I don't give!
