please help me on how to figure out a problem like this!!

The equation for a parabola is y = ax^2 + bx + c

set up three eq using the three points given
4a +2b + c = 320
a - b + c = -16
4a - 2b + c = -24

solve by eliminating 1 and 3 => b = 86
sub b in 1 and 2 a => 26 and c = 44

so the eq is y = 26x^2 +86x + 44
