How do I get sound on my comp?

I was getting rid of junk on my comp and i acidently deleted Audio Codec '97 Now my comp has no sound.

You just need to download the drivers. Go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and look for AC97 in downloads and drivers. It should tell on the front of your computer which motherboard manufacturer you have, either Intel or AMD.

You may need to go through the system restore process and restore your computer to a point before you cleaned your computer.
