Thank you! I'm wondering that myself! Who has the NAACP? Yeah, I'd say the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People are way more racist than white folks. All HELL would break loose if someone started a NAAWP!!

All racism is racism which ever direction it comes from.
And racism isn't just about colour, its about a range of difference, that's why here in the UK we have a heavy amount of racism from the West Indian community towards the African community. And in the US is why my Ethiopian friend was told she was not proper Black cos her skin is lighter than a Nigerian.
White people are not the only people capable of racism, everybody is. It's starts from the notion that we dislike our neighbours (ie English hate french, Protestants hate catholics) and then gets wider and wider. Racism is unfortunately part of humanity and its about time we talked about it properly instead of just bashing whitey for the sins of our colonial ancestors.
BTW, when I went to America I was shocked by BET, and thought would they allow Honky TV?

Because the government are frightened of losing they vote now they have been aloud to come here in there droves, simple as that, and if that's a racist remark and not the truth I would eat my hat if I had one.

It is racist either way it's just been the history of this country that whites have been racist for a long time and have done really bad things to black or browns i think people just pay more attention,but in my eyes it wrong either way .

It is racist. Some of the most racist exchanges can be between non whites such as Sikh's & Muslims. It doesn't matter what colour of skin you have, if you say something derogatory about another race then it is racist.

The law applies to all races etc., but unfortunately the reality is that the positive discrimination act defuses it. Their are many who wont agree with me when I say these acts should work properly where a person loses or cant get goods services homes or jobs because of race or religion then that should be where the positive discrimination bites, as for racial abuse etc., then when white black or whatever step well out of line they should be penalised under race relations act. The powers that be should ensure these acts work and work fairly all ways. It is odd but if someone calls my daughter a bad name they will be open to action but if someone of her colouring calls me w....b...ch or h...y etc., or shoves me out of their way it doesn't apply none of us can work that out - we are all people for gosh sakes!

What do you mean its not the other way?? Its the same if your white, black, purple, or blue. Being judge or criticized by your race is racist. Everyone is equal and it doesn't matter what race you are, you should be treated with respect.

Why are white ppl the only ones saying this? Many black ppl agree that racism is wrong coming from either direction.
Where were all these racism activists when black ppl were assaulted with hoses & told to sit at the back of the bus?
I'm amazed at the outrage against "white racism" , but black ppl really needed that same outrage during years of racism.

Well, I think some of the reason is because we live in the US, where blacks are a minority. There are more whites in this country and so it automatically gives us a disadvantage when it comes to racism. I live in Utah, where there are even FEWER blacks than in other states, and I see this a lot every day.

Because we have politically correct nincompoops running around trying to make sure everyone is practicing "positive discrimination".
Sadly, these people are too stupid to realise that it is exactly this kind of "positive discrimination" that fuels racial tensions.
Intelligent people of ALL colours ackowledge this to be true - but the little self-appointed PC people who have their little degrees seem to know best.

well it is racist both ways and it is discrimination and segregation and i do not tolerate it from NO one so if any of you guys i dont care if its all of you guys but if you are goin too say anything bad against any race hateful or attack anyone for what they believe or what they are whether thier white or any race people are people thier are people with good behavior in everyrace and then thier is people with bad behavior in every race we must learn to accept people for who they are and not for what color of thier skin
