Period late?

Question

I am currently on antibiotics, have been on them for about a week. I am late with my period, which is not usual for me, I am usually on time. I have never had sex, I do NOT use birth control. I am almost in my twenties, so I am not new to having periods nor am I near menopause. So, can these antibiotics cause me to have a late period? This happened about two months ago when I was also on antibiotics.

Yes, the antibiotics can mess with you, but more importantly the illness you are taking the antibiotics for is stressing your system and messing up your cycle. I know it's annoying, but nothing to worry about.
