A photo of a Church and Tavern on opposite corners would certainly stir up a good debate, I should hope.
It is OK to imbibe liquor, also OK to go to church (At least in this Country)
But to consume alcohol (other than communion wine) on the church premise would certainly be in 'bad taste'
These 'Grey Areas' of society are to be decided upon by persons of respected opinion and reason and common decency. It`s why we have laws, some of which, really don`t make sense at all, never-the-less provide a standard for us all to respect, if not abide by.

The choice should not be based on easiest, but effective.
First what is your position, or what is the evidence?
Can you find examples for both pro & con viewpoints?

You could make a list of civil rights from the constitution:
Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of happiness.
You could show that these were based on religious freedom.
Then you can explain religious views of those same rights.
In particular, the self-imposed restrictions people accept.
Positions on Abortion, Death Penalty, Euthanasia.
Arrest & criminal prosecution, & justice system.
Use of alcohol & drugs etc.

I would put these side by side on a folding display board.
