Which one brings back more memories for you?
Mine is sound, an old school song makes me remember good times far better than a smell would.
I say that because I am listening to Journey, and it reminds me of being a child.......

yeah, I forgot that sometimes those memories arent lovely.....I have a few songs that I dont like listening to even though I liked them previously because they remind me of a certain someone
ie- wonderful tonight by Eric Clapton.....used to LOVE that song

it's true
actually i am hearing my old cd's to remember back in high school and junior high,
most of the time melacholia attacks me
but it's a feeling i really enjoy

Sound brings back memories faster for me, also. There are several songs from my past that will jog memories much faster than any scents that I can think of, at least off hand, right now. There have been many times, in my life, where something has happened, when a song has been playing in the background, and that song will always remind me of the times---especially if they were good times. :o)

Sound brings back so much. The wind in the trees, rustling the leaves. A yard dog barking late at night and i haven't even started on all the good old songs out there...:)

Sound for sure, although there are some smells that can bring back memories too. I think sounds are more available than smells. Diesel exhaust reminds me of diving in Cozumel....

Sound, it brings back memories like tide-waves crashing on a beach and trill the past reminsces back to me today..smell is a bit vague as it wears away in due time unless it is a very bold and intense smell.

A little of both, mostly scent though. Whenever I go to the beach I smell the salty breeze and it reminds me of long walks in the sand.
