Gavin, Zane, Miles
I LOVE Gavin. I love how it is strong yet soft. But it is getting popular, which I dislike, ALOT. Enough to possibly throw it out for me....But it is DH's favorite.
I also love Zane. It is again soft yet strong and is not popular at all. DH's second favorite..
Miles. DH's least favorite, but I LOVE it. And again it isnt popular.
If I could name all by myself he would be Rowan, but DH hates it :(

I like them all, though they are different.
Gavin - share your concern on the popularity. Although I love it also. I think if you did a poll, this would get the most votes. Fits in with the current trends but not too trendy.
Zane - more unusual, but not too different. Good choice in my opinion
Miles - Love this also, my DH didn't like it either.
I'd go with Miles myself. If your DH dislikes it a lot, then I'd elminate it and go with one of the others.
Honestly, I don't think you will go wrong with any of these.
We took two-three names into the delivery room (with middle name combos) and decided when we saw our babies.
Good luck.

Hey.
Gavin is a nice name. It is getting popular but that's because it's cute and no one can resist it. For personal reasons I can't bring myself to like this name the way everyone else does. If it's your favorite name and your partners then it is probably meant to be. Name the baby what feels right in your heart.
I love Zane too. My friend has a little guy named Zane and it really suits him. It has grown nicely with him. Just watch though, it is a different name right now and not too common but I have noticed that in my local hospital the name is really growing in popularity over the last little while.
Miles is also a nice name. I like it. It is super cute and not popular. I actually have never met a Miles.
Well.. my favorite would be Rowan too. But because that isn't an option I'd say Zane. Cool and different. It's really a cool name.
Hope this helps! :)

Zane is John in another language cannot remember what but it is in the baby names book, which I love as it was my Dad's name and he passed away in 2005 and I am expecting too and Zane is a possibility, Gavin is a no no as it is shortened to gav always and Miles is okay but not for a little one how about Milo I know it is a tweenie but still cute X GOOD LUCK X

How about a compromise, like naming him Gavin Miles? Or,just throw all the names out the window and name him Michael Ian!

Yeah, Gavin's a bit popular. Why not compromise and name the baby Zane Miles *Last Name*?
