Could you tell me about the different areas in Nashville? I'm moving there soon and I'm trying to figure out the best place for me. Thanks!

there are many, many distinct neighborhoods. There is downtown which is mostly expensive lofts, Music Row and the Gulch which is also pretty expensive but has some apts. as well as 100 yr old homes, Green Hills and Belle Meade- exclusive and $$$$, Bellevue is a lot of families plus a lot od Apts. a little more reasonable and still very nice. There is the area aroound Percy Priest Lake which is OK. Stay away from Nolensville Rd and Dickerson Rd areas. The best thing to do is to go to one of the For Rent magazine sites- google it- or check out Crye-Leike Realtors site and look at the listings for the different areas. That would give you an idea of which area is in your price range- or get info from the Chamber of Commerce. We live in a suburb 20 miles away called Hendersonville and we love it here. Close enough to commute, which I do, but still a nice quiet, smaller community. There are lots more areas of Nashville than I listed, but that'll start you off! Anyway, good luck!!!
