Why can't there be a big guy out there kicking? Or at least someone who can make a tackle?

Check out the Steelers new Punter, although he has done more holding for extra points and Field Goals then punting so far, he was a LB in college before being converted to punter(also while in college) so yeah he is bulked up and can tackle.

the reason they are scrawny is because they do not have to practice.meaning when the others are running and gaining muscle they are stretching and kicking a ball.they do not really have to gain muscle because all they do is kick balls.THE REASON A BIG GUY CANT KICK A BALL IS BECAUSE FLEXIBILITY.when you have lots of muscle its hard to stay flexible. if a kicker had to really do more than that maybe they would be stronger and bigger than they usually are

Too much muscle (or fat) would prevent the kicker from getting the necessary whiplash behind his kick.
Kicking isn't about leg strength, rather the ability to drive the leg through the ball.

Because kickers need flexibility.
Imagine a big guy with huge thighs and no snap to his legs trying to kick.
Many were fromer soccer players as well.

besides janikowski becausee they dont hav to hit or tackle all of thim are between 5-8 and 6-1 160 lbs- 180 lbs

they aren't scrawny they are actually just normal sized people lol they don't need to be all bulked up because their job does not require them to bulk up. there are a few bulky kickers out there but not many

because there only job is to kick. if they have to make atackle then they are most likley screwed
