peoples' genuine thoughts are always more interesting than television shows with "created" answers, controlled discussions, controlled news coverages and other talking heads, endless sporting events, and those gawd awful reality tv shows. i still like the game shows.

at yahoo answers you get to think, either from the questions you are trying to answer or from reading answers to questions that you have asked or that interest you. in short you're using your brain, and most importantly you're using your time wisely.
it is a fact that you use your brain more whilst sleeping then whilst watching television..... so of the two, i'd say yahoo is way better.
also, you get to meet interesting people here, which you don't on tv

television makes people stupid, yahoo answers may make you think.

Not nearly as much eyestrain; also, flickering movement is a main cause of headaches.
