if he can keep a great support team around him i think he will. he is slowing down on in the stats but that's because he is realizing he doesn't need to win the games anymore he has players around him that can bear some of the load. if he can stay healthy and play for another 5 years (maybe 4 really good years) he can own the records. Its hard to think that he will stay in that long though he is really becoming a team oriented play caller and not looking for personal glory

He needs roughly 140 tds maybe 160 or 185 depending on what Favre adds to the record now that is about 5 to 7 years. The question is will he stay productive as the players surrounding him age? I personally think he will at least get close, but it is hard to tell if he will get injured or less productive down the road in a few seasons. Plus many players retire around 35 and to break the record he probably has to go until he's 36 to 38, I personally think Manning is one of those stats kind of guys who will just play to get the record.

idk we dont know how many more TDs Favre will throw or howe long he plays, but right now Favre has 420 and Peyton has 280, hes behind 140 TDs, which is a lot and we dont know how long Peyton will play or if he stays healthy. Hes in his 10th season, say he plays 17 like Favre right now, he has to average 20 TDs a year in a 7 year period if he plays that long.

I say he has a shot at it barring he plays longer, but thats a tough task especially since Favre is only growing the record.

At this rate, Peyton Manning will pass the passing TD and passing yardage in 4 to 6 more seasons.

But he won't pass Favre's interception records...

I am a huge Packer fan, but I would rather Peyton Manning pass the record than Tom Brady. I am a huge Farvre fan, but I respect Manning for his talent. Tom Brady irritates me.

Sadly for Favre I think that Peyton will one day own the TD Record. But I think that Brady will own the Wins record

With all the money he makes and will make, Peyton might want to return early to see his kids grow up and play football.
