What is the most inexpensive way to receive a connection on my laptop no matter where I go?

I heard a blackberry can be used as a modem, any other ideas?

I've never tried using a Blackberry as a modem or anything like that because I don't own one. Haha. But anyway, I think some cell phone companies offer these external Internet cards that you can put in your laptop and you can use them to get Internet. I'm not exactly sure of the pricing, so you may want to look into that, but if you have a Blackberry, perhaps you could try using it and see how it works.
