what do i have to do to fix it so my email address will show insted of my parents

In general, delete their account in your email program and set up your own. The details of this vary from email program to program, so it's hard to be more specific than this. I'm sure they don't want you getting their email any more than you want it.

If you're using a POP or IMAP client, such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird to send e-mail and your parents didn't delete their account(s) from the program, you may actually be sending e-mails from their account and that could be why it's showing up as their e-mail address. I'd suggest that you look in the Accounts section of the program and see what the e-mail address is, and if it's not your's, then I suggest you change the information to be correct. If you need instructions, your ISP or e-mail provider may have them on their website.

You didn't say if you're using Outlook or Firefox.
You can go to your email webmail server. Email you send from the webmail server will be addressed correctly.
If you're using Outlook Express, you need to find preferences or options and reset your email sending address to match your own.
