a leopard gecko can live a couple of months from the fat stored in its tail my gecko went through something like that and didn't eat for a week because we moved her from my bedroom to the living room and we moved her back to my room and she began to eat again so it could be stress but if its on sand, calci-sand or some other loose substrate impaction could be a possibility

A week for an adult leo is not unusual. He may be getting ready to she or he just shed. Check his temps....should be 88-91 on the UTH side--measure with digital probe only. Try other types of insects, such as phoenix worms, silkworms, superworms. Is he on sand? He may be impacted if he is. Try daily warm water soaks (just up to his shoulders) for 10 minutes. Is your house temp cooling off? They can begin to brumate this time of year. Check out the health section here and see if anything jumps out at you:

Re-check all habitat features and conditions. If problem persists a trip to the vet or exp. Herpetologist would be in order.

You should get him a mate, my desert horned lizard was starving itself too and i got him a mate and he started eating again, you can also try forcefeeding him i tried it but it didn't work, you can aso try giving him another kind of food, but the best thing would be to take him to the vet.
