me and one of my freinds have been freinds forever and we have not gone out , we want to but we think we should wait till we get older and more mature. but now he just wants to be freinds and not go out with each other when we grow up and i dont know what to do . i think he is mad because we are not going out but idk .

You don't have to decide your future right now even if he is talking about it.
Just keep being friends for now and you should be OK. You do say that you both have decided to wait until you're older so why would he be mad ? And if you are as good friends as you say you could always ask him about his comment,

You both have to want to. Don't believe that just because you're good friends, it means you're destined to be married. Sometimes friends stay that way and someone else comes along that you feel more sexually-attracted to and you marry that person instead. The hard work and sacrifice required in being mates and parents through the years could put a strain on most friendships.

if he's really your friend, he should respect your decision regardless. if you both really like each other, why bother waiting? it might just die out as you get older and you'll be one of those people who thinks, "what if?!!" and you dont want that riight? if you strongly feel that you two should wait, then trust your instincts. but if you're just scared i think it's worth giving it a shot because he's best friend and could-be boyfriend. That's a great combo right there

I have a few best friends that are girls, and only one I can call a friend. That is because I like the other girls, and that one is a friend only because she has a boyfriend. Figure it out yourself! I'm not an asshole, I'm not even sure any more who I like, because there's only one girl that I really like, but I wouldn't mind being with the others. :)

That truely his own problem, when boys get impatient that might mean that they truely didn't like you. but you never, know., so wade it out and see what ends up happening and talk to him about it. and say why you want to wait it out, but if you don't want to wait it out, then ask him once more, about being together.
