When I am asked this question, I usually say "Danny Boy" - but I reminded myself yesterday that there is another one - "I dreamed I was in heaven" by Charlie Landsborough.

Well, true story, my friends Dad, was the father of Danny Kilbride, who was murdered by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, - The Moors Murderers- And Mr Kilbride used to sing "Danny boy" in the local pub, for his dead son. He was a lovely lrish singer and it was very moving, sadly he has passed too now- Reunited with Danny- RIP.

My mother's favorite song, When You Walk Through a Storm, Before She Breaks My Heart by Roger Whitaker, For Your Love by Diane Schuur. Oh yeah, and the song that became the radio theme song for the soldiers of Desert Storm. Any song sung from the heart in memory...

I am such a sap.

When my Momma was alive and I would go visit, the family would get around the piano and sing hymns. When I hear "The Old Rugged Cross", "In the Garden", "Little Church in the Wild wood", and other old hymns it takes me back. One time when I went to hear my daughter sing for Karaoke a man came in, asked to sing a song and asked anyone who knew the song to sing with him. It was like angels singing when all the drunks in the bar joined in...a very beautiful moment. Never saw him again and so we all suppose that maybe in this case an angel entertained us unawares. Nah I don't frequent bars lol. Just went to hear my girl. Mmm
