i wouldn't use the initials because i think it makes a company sound a bit amateurish and not imaginative and like it's a father and son set up
also the initials would not be as memorable as a specific name
for example if you chose something like 'the pipe people' you could use it as a slogan on letterhead/comp slips/business cards/quotes and van
