chat rooms?

ages ago my cousin was on what she called a fight room just where people argue through microphones. does anyone know what the website is?

This sounds like a terriably immature way to pass the time. Isn't life troublesome enough without going to a chat room where everyone argues? Many individuals homes are rife with fights and arguements, let alone at work, school, or out driving the roads.

Now, if this is more of a debate club, which can sound like an argument, that would be a skill building tool. Life is difficult when one doesn't know the proper way to debate issues in life. When we have self empowerment which builds up our skills in assertive debate, we can get our needs met in society in a much more positive manner. Debating can seem like an argument, but it is in fact a healthy way to get your thoughts, opinions and beliefs heard. Debate is a great avenue for learning to express oneself in an assertive, not aggresive manner and this enables others to hear what we have to say, much more so than agression and hostility does.

Debate also helps teach individuals how to speak cohesively, getting thoughts out in a logical and understandable format. This leads to an increased ability to communicate within society, on the job, with family and in social situations. Those who build such skills have a much greater ability to communicate effectively.

I hope this "fight" room is really a place where individuals can hone their skills in assertive debate. Regardless, if you are one of those individuals who just loves a good argument, then more power too you! Whatever floats your boat. This sounds like a healthy way to blow off steam without harming others. It is much better to blow off steam in healthy manners rather than blow up in a loved ones face. lol

My boyfriend uses PalTalk, I think you have to download it though. He uses those rooms as a stress relief, it does him the world of good sometimes to have a rant at a complete stranger who doesn't really mind coz he's on there for the same reason!

haha! that sounds so weird :)
must be great if you want to let off some steam though. that really is very intresting, i've never heard of 'fight rooms' before. you learn something new everyday :)

I do not like those kind of chat rooms.
I like the arguing though! I am good at that!

used to be on yahoo, you can still download the rooms but i havnt been able to get on.
