I would not be willing without knowing more information about why you need that amount of money and what you intend to do with it.
On the other hand, like most Americans, I am generous and would be willing to give you the shirt off of my back if I knew it was not going to be abused. If you legitimately need help, I am sure that you will find many people to help you out. Myself included.

Well, for one thing, if I were to donate $1.00, it would
not help your cause--what ever exactly that may be.
And, for another thing, even if I were to give you more
than that--as much as, say... $1,000--how would I get
it to you, without knowing your mailing address?
