Ah, a two pronged question....
If snitching meant getting a drug dealer off of schoolyards, then "Yes".
If it meant imposing on someone else's basic rights simply because I didn't agree with their point of view, then "No".

No, I actually dislike being a snitch but when people post perverted or bigotted stuff here at Yahoo Answers then I'm happy to turn them in. I wouldn't want kids to see that stuff.

If I were in school again, I would've snitched, but not openly.
A good old "anonymous tip" would've gotten rid of some trash, and school would've been a lot better.

If it's because they are doing harm to someone, yes it would make me feel good to help. I don't think it has anything to do with feeling good about yourself, that would just be smug.
