Possibly a heater depending on what type of fish you're planning on keeping.

Dechlorinator-assuming you're on city water.

I also recommend keeping some aquarium salt, MelaFix, and PimaFix on hand. Those can be used to treat a variety of problems, and if used at the first sign of illness can work great sometimes.

A test kit, preferably a liquid dropper one as opposed to a dipstick one. API makes one for about 30.00, it tests ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, ph, and high ph.

Also, need a gravel vacuum/syphon for water changes along with a few buckets if you'll be changing the water that way.

Just to comment, gravel is a substrate. You don't need to have both gravel and a separate substrate seeing as substrate is anything you put at the bottom of your tank (gravel, pebbles, river rock, sand, marbles, or no substrate at all).

Unless you are keeping Goldfish or Minnows, you will also need a heater to keep the temperature around 77*.

DO NOT FORGET A SIPHON! Without a siphon, all the poop and extra fish food (which you also need) will accumulate in the gravel, essentially poisoning your fish. To go with this siphon/gravel vacuum, you will need a large bucket (5 gallons +) that will be devoted to your fish (and NOTHING else). Good luck!

What sort of fish are you wanting to keep:

Cold Water
Fresh Water
Brackish Water
Salt Water

If coldwater you have the complete setup
If freshwater you will require a heater
If brackish water you will require salt
If salt water you will require, marine salt, Live rock, Protein skimmer etc.

Last of all you may want some fish!!

Outside of fish how about a stand. I have seen several dressers and tables ruined due to water/moisture.

it would be nice to know, what type of tank, saltwater or freshwater.

guessing freshwater but the vegi clip might lead to saltwater.

But if it is freshwater, make sure you have a master test kit, water conditioner like stress coat, medications, foods, heater, aquarium salt.
