There's an old saying that if we don't learn from history we are destined to make the same mistakes. Not remembering 9/11 destines us to make the mistakes that led up to it.

Besides that, if a close member of your family was murdered, would you not remember the anniversary of that tragedy? Well, 3000 people were murdered in the name of America. That makes them OUR family. We owe it to them to remember that date.

You are either looking for a rise or in need of serious help.
After nearly 20 years of attacks on civilian targets we were finally clobbered at home.
3000 civilians dead.
This wasn't the first attempt but it was the most devastating.
6 years later and we still have IDIOTS saying it was our own government.
Our own government can't keep anything secret more than 20 minutes much less 6 years.
There actually is a move in the Arab world to create a Caliphate and institute Sharia law.
See the Sadam to Hitler connection on the history channel or TLC.
These aren't little dots to be looked at through a magnifying glass they're a road map Stevie Wonder could see.

1. Because of the scale of the attack on U.S. soil.
2. Because it was the first instance where NATO invoked Article 6 of the treaty which says that an attack on one is an attack on all, which led to a NATO ground and air force in Afghanistan and a NATO naval force in both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
3. Because of the massive death of innocent civilians, including two people I knew who were on the plane which struck the Pentagon. Their mortal remains were recovered and I attended their funeral. Despite what the tin-foil hat brigade may believe, they were on that plane. They didn't ride on the top of a missile.

I do not believe in the fictional account of arab terrorists. The 9/11 Commission report has huge gap and huge errors. The government's explaination is the least likely of all conspiracy theories.

The families of victims want the truth exposed.

Because we were attacked that day in a way that we never imagined. Now we need to start imagining all possibilities because the enemy has intent to harm us.
