The best thing you can do is the following and I did this throughout my pre-teens and High School years and it worked great for me. My aunt was the office nurse for our family doctor and this is what they recommended for me:

Each morning and evening:

Place a hot wash rag on your face. This will open up the pores on your face.

Then quickly wash your face with a hot, sudsy wash rag. This will wash the grease and oil and dirt out of the pores that have already been opened with the previous hot rag.

Then immediately splash cold water over your face to close the pores on your face back up.

If you should get any pimples, dot gobs of Noxzema cream onto the pimples as you sleep at night and also during the day whenever you are at home. This stuff will dry the pimples up and does not cost a fortune.

I did this and barely ever had problems with acne.

I hope you will give it a try. Don't give up right away, though. Give it a little time to get it to work. Good Luck!

For the quick job that needs done before photos, I think you will need some sort of a coverup. But start this method right away.

ALSO DON'T EVER PICK OR SQUEEZE OR YOU WILL END UP WITH SCARS.

The hot water/ soap/ cold water advice is excellent. The hot water, as well as opening up the pores, draws any pus to the surface.

Getting rid of the problem in a few days is perhaps a bit unrealistic, though. What's happening -- as is confirmed by the area you're having problems with -- is that you have a high level of male hormones -- yes, it's common with teenage girls -- and your skin is responding to the testosterone. Expect some moustache growth to commence shortly, if it hasn't already.

DON'T listen to the first person. Using too many acne treatments will dry out your face. Have u gone to a doctor yet? They have a creme that clears up acne. Do u wash ur face everyday? CLeanse it at least 2 times a day. Once in morning once b4 bed. Drink water instead of soda. I would strongly reccommend using Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, or Olay. I have those products and they are AMAZING. Good luck!

For the picture, get some good foundation. As it is an important picture, you might want to get a makeup artist. Don't put too much makeup on because you'll look back at the pic in a few years and feel really embarrassed.
Good luck!

the best thing to do is go to ur dermatologist theres an injection or something that will get rid of ur pimples on the same day.

or buy over the counter medicines to dry it up, then on the picure day just cover it up with concealer, foundation, loose powder and a dash of blush

Drink lots of water and excerize...sounds easy...because it is. A proper diet and excerize routine can do wonders for your skin. I know this sounds a bit weird but other things that might work for you are toothpaste and apples(cut one up and rub it on your skin...it calms the area and makes it smoother). OTC face wash wouldn't be a bad idea either and if worst cames to worse use makeup (properly) to hid it for your picture but just remember not to stress out about it because that can make it worse. Also avoid touching your face if you can because the oils on your fingers are not good for your face at all.

Good Luck!

hmm...does u school offer the thing where they "remove" ur acne throught photoshop? i think its throught photoshop, im not sure. chances are, ur pimples aren't gonna be gone by then. but u should buy a pcture and pay for that removing blemishes thing. i think u have to pay $6 to $8 for it. and that's how ur pic goes in the yearbook and i.d.
