you know those books that people hide money and drugs in, like a box cut out of each page to make a box, how are they made?

The answers you already have are correct. But I hope you are doing one for it's novelity and not to "stash" illegal things like drugs. If you are so unhappy that you have started drugs, you should try and stop now (if recent) and go find a good "Bible Teaching" church. There is a difference in a Bible Teaching church and other churches. A really good church teaches the Word, and then does what the Word says. And remember a church is a hospital of sorts for us who have sickness of all kinds. And that means everyone on this planet. But I am hoping you are only interested in this a something fun and unusual to do with your time.

I did this once! You lay the book on a table, open the front cover, and just begin carving the middles out of the pages with an exacto knife. A few pages at a time. After you get 1/4 to 1/2 in. down, you 'open' those pages to get to the ones below. For a big book, it's slow going.

If you were going to do many of them it might be nice to have clamps to hold the pages flat and together. Have you ever seen those specialized Vice Grips they use for bending tin? The jaws are wide and flat. Those might do if they could open wide enough.

You buy a book, take a very sharp knife and cut out a hole in the centerof the pages. If you want to make a solid box you then glue the pages together.
