He wasn't found. The search was called off last week. His chum Branson, done a great interview when he went missing, but must have got sidetracked with other events last weekend. Hence Fossett gone forever.

He hasn't been found to date but many other planes which have been lost, some many years ago have been discovered.The area where he went misssing is larger than France so the chance of finding anything is very unlikely.

there are still private planes searching for him but the search has been greatly scaled down. he is most likely dead.
