is this misscarriage?

i was having brown spotting so i took pregnency test it came positive , and i went to doctor ,they did blood test it came i am 5 weeks pregnent .but when they did ultrasound they are telling that no fetal pole is there in my uterus .what does it mean ?they are telling may be i had incomplete abortion.tomorrow i am going to other doc .but just i wanted to know whether i got misscarriage?actually before i was having brown discharge but after ultrasound i am getting red color blood little more amount compared to before.is this misscarriage?plz tell me

It sounds like it may be an early miscarriage. Did they do a blood test? What I had done when I had spotting was taken a blood test, and then went back 2 days later to have another test done to see if the HCG levels were doubling. I'm shocked that your doctor didn't think to do this. It is common practice for women that have spotting. When I had an ultra sound at 5 1/2 weeks there was no fetal pole yet, at least one that could not be seen, but when I went back 2 weeks later I saw and heard the heartbeat. I think I would be finding a different doctor.

It is possible you are miscarrying. They would not be able to see anything with an ultrasound even if you were having a perfectly healthy pregnancy. So im not understading why they told you that. The only way you will know for sure if you have had a miscarriage is when you take a blood test. This will show your HCG and then they will probably repeat in 48 hours to see if your HCG level doubles like it should or if it falls then you are miscarrying or have already.

its possible es but they may want to wait 2 weeks and scan again as 5 weeks is a bit early what they probably told you is you may have had a spontanious abortion which is just a miscaraige.you will need to see doctor if your blood has no clots then if you have mc then you need a d&c.
