many are just samples of various things such as coffee, detergent , coupons for restaurants, etc. usually trial sizes.

People who give stuff away for free ,
Give it to their church thrift shop , or Goodwill or Salvation Army , etc . . .
Why would anyone waste time putting it on a web site and then have to deal with shipping & those costs .
But , possibly , I just can't imagine why anyone would do that . . .
