You BOTH need to read a book called The 5 love languages. Everybody has a specific way that they communicate love. It sounds like your husband likes " Words of Affirmation' as his primary love language. I guarantee if you read this book and apply it in your marriage, it will change things. His insecurities will start to stop after you tell him thank you for ...... and I appreciate........ Those are some of the things in Words of Affirmation. You are probably a different love language and he needs to know what yours is. Keep the LOVE TANK full by recognizing each language then using it. It worked a miracle in my marriage.
