Does anyone know how to pronounce lead singer of Three Days Grace, Adam Gontier's last name? I've always pronounced it Gon-tee-air but ive heard an interview where you can hear him slightly say something like Gon-Chay

It's Gon-tee-ay but as French names are pronounced fast it may sound like Gon-chay. It's like the French word for 'Yes', Oui, that people always pronounce as 'wee' when. actually, it should be Oo-ee. Say it fast and see how it sounds as compared to slowly.

I had the same problem. I'd been pronouncing it Gone-tee-er. I feel like an idiot. Gon-tee-ay. Ok. I will keep that in mind.
