I am 12 weeks preg, with my second baby. At night when I am really still in bed I have felt the baby even at this early stage. I am showing, but this is also my thrid pregnancy so that makes a difference. I look like I a five months and I am only 3 months. I have a very short torso and so that plays a huge part also.

congrats on the pregnancy! i didnt start showing till I was around 7 months. My friend who was pg at the same time as me started showing at 3 months. Everyone is different. some people hardly show at all and others look pg from the word go. your tummy should probably feel a bit harder. mine was solid at 3 months but then got softer as the pregnancy progressed. If you feel worried, you should go see your doctor as they would be able to advise you best. Good luck :)

with the respect to the others answering this question i disagree, cause when i was 32 weeks with my second child i had only just found out, still wearing size 10 jeans, not bragging just didnt know i was pregnant, didnt feel any movement or show any signs what so ever. i went on to have a very healthy son born at 41 weeks weighing 6lb 13oz who is now age 6 almost 7 and very healthy. Dont worry too much hunny cause every pregnancy is different and i'm sure evrything will be just fine. point i'm trying to make is books dont know everything there has to be a first time for everything xx

i'm one of those unfortunate mommies whose tummies protrude very early in pregnancy, i'm nine weeks now and starting to show! with my first pregnancy, i was about 12 weeks when i started to show....every women and every pregnancy truly is diffrent!!
ofcourse, it's not the actualy baby that's 'showing'...it's my bodies reaction to pregnancy hormones and the reaction to pack on extra fat stores around the mid-section earlier than other women at the same point in pregnancy. some women don't get that extra tummy fat, so they don't show till their babies are actually big enouph to create a noticable bump!
it's just genetics, i guess. i can't wait till i can feel baby moving!

I was definitely showing by week 19 and i felt the baby kick at 18 weeks for the first time. This would vary depending on your weight and whether it is your first baby or not.
