OK - I think what you are trying to say is this

C = 5/9 (F+32)

9/5C = F=32 (by mutiplying each side by 9/5)

9/5C - 32 =F (by taking 32 away from each side)

F= 9/5C -32

Now I wonder since the standard conversion for Celcius to Farhenheit is C = 5/9 (F-32) if this is what you really wanted.
But I will go with what you wrote.

AHA -- just like I thought -- ok then the answer is

F = 9/5C +32.

To test both of these, you know that 32F = 0C. SO let's test them.

32 = 9/5(0) +32??
32=32!! Yes

C= 5/9 (F-32)
0 = 5/9 (32-32) ??
0 = 0 YES!!

The formula is F=9/5C +32.

plug in C=5, F=41

Convert Celsius to fahrenheit formula

c = 5/9(F - 32)

Multiply both sides of the equation by 5/9 recriprocal, which is 9/5

9/5C = 9/5(5/9)(F - 32)

9/6C = F - 32

Transpose 32

9/5C + 32 = F - 32 + 32

9/5(C) + 32 = F. . .←. .Fahrenheit Formula

Isn't that the equation to convert Fahrenheit Celsius?

First you would get (F+32) by itself by multiplying 9/5 on both sides
9/5C=F+32

Subtract 32 on both sides
9/5C-32=F

Answer: F=9/5C-32
